Creeture Yoga is where your wild spirit meets mindful movement. Rooted in the breathtaking landscapes of Colorado's Front Range, we guide every body — every creature — back to its natural state of balance, strength, and joy.
At Creeture Yoga, we believe wellness is a creature comfort — something natural, instinctive, and deeply yours. Our holistic approach blends movement, breath, mindfulness, and community.
The name Creeture Yoga is a love letter to the natural world — and to you. We are all creatures, beautifully designed to move, breathe, stretch, and rest. Yet modern life pulls us away from this primal wisdom. Our studio exists to bring you back.
Nestled beside the ancient Lefthand Creek in Longmont, Colorado, we are surrounded by the wild Front Range — where elk roam, eagles soar, and the Rocky Mountains remind us daily of our own potential for majesty and stillness. Let that energy flow into your practice.
Our classes draw from the seasons, landscapes, and wildlife of the Front Range. Practice changes as the mountains do — always alive.
Every shape, size, age, and ability is a creature worthy of this practice. We adapt, we welcome, we celebrate every body that walks through our door.
Animals don't worry about perfecting their stretch. Neither should you. We cultivate joy, curiosity, and playfulness on the mat.
Every class at Creeture Yoga is designed to tap into your body's innate wisdom — drawing on the primal intelligence that connects us all to the living world.
Longmont sits at the meeting point of the Great Plains and the Rocky Mountains — a landscape of extraordinary power. Our outdoor classes harness this energy, making the earth your mat and the sky your ceiling.
Real stories from real humans — all shapes, all backgrounds, all discovering the wild wisdom of their own bodies.
"I've tried yoga at several studios in Boulder County, but Creeture Yoga is unlike anything I've experienced. The nature-infused philosophy isn't just words — you feel it in every class. The outdoor Creek sessions completely changed my relationship with my body and this beautiful landscape."
"As someone who thought yoga 'wasn't for me,' Creeture changed everything. The instructors make you feel like you belong exactly as you are. The Hibernation Yin class has become my weekly reset — I emerge from it feeling like a new creature entirely."
"Carrol and the whole Creeture team have built something truly special here in Longmont. The studio has the warmth of a small community and the expertise of a professional facility. The creek runs right outside — I swear you can feel its energy in the Vinyasa class!"
New to Creeture Yoga? We'd love to welcome you to our creature community. Your first drop-in class is complimentary — no strings, just good vibes and great movement.
"We are all creatures. We all deserve to move freely, breathe deeply, and feel at home in our bodies."
Creeture Yoga LLC was founded in Longmont, Colorado with a single, powerful conviction: that yoga is not a performance — it is a returning. A returning to the body's natural intelligence, to the rhythm of breath, to the quiet wisdom that every living creature carries within.
Our name celebrates this truth. We are cretures — beautifully imperfect, endlessly adaptable, fully alive. The misspelling is intentional: a small act of rebellion against perfectionism, a reminder that wild things don't follow the rulebook.
Located at 1855 Lefthand Creek Lane in Longmont, we are literally rooted beside one of Colorado's most beloved waterways — a place where wildlife, wildflowers, and wandering humans coexist in beautiful harmony.
At Creeture Yoga, our mission is to create a sanctuary where movement becomes medicine, where the mat is a map back to your most authentic self, and where community grows like mycelium — quietly, deeply, connecting everything.
We draw our inspiration from Colorado's extraordinary natural world. The Front Range teaches us about resilience (think: pines that survive at 12,000 feet), flexibility (the creek that finds its way around every boulder), and the beauty of showing up exactly as we are, season after season.
We offer classes for beginners through advanced practitioners, private sessions, seasonal outdoor experiences, workshops, and community events — all designed to meet you where you are, and guide you gently to where you're meant to go.
Creeture Yoga LLC was formally established in October 2025, but the dream had been growing for years — nurtured by years of practice, teaching, and a deep love for Colorado's wild landscapes. Founder and lead instructor Carrol Lawrence envisioned a yoga studio that would break the mold: no intimidating mirror walls, no competitive atmosphere, no perfection required.
The name came one morning during a sunrise practice beside Lefthand Creek, watching a great blue heron stand perfectly still in the water — a living meditation. "We're all creatures," Carrol thought. "And we're all capable of this."
The studio at 1855 Lefthand Creek Lane, Unit C-201, was chosen deliberately for its connection to nature. Steps from the creek trail, with views of the mountains, it embodies the Creeture philosophy: practice does not belong in a glass tower — it belongs where the wild things are.
Our instructors are more than teachers — they are fellow travelers on the path, dedicated to holding space for your growth, your questions, and your wild, unfolding journey.
A Colorado native and lifelong student of yoga, Carrol brings deep knowledge of alignment, breathwork, and somatic healing. She has studied under multiple traditions and believes yoga's greatest gift is returning us to ourselves. Her Creek Flow Vinyasa classes are legendary for their joy and precision.
Maya discovered yoga after years as a competitive runner, using yin practice to heal and deepen her relationship with her body. Her Hibernation Yin classes are a sanctuary of profound stillness — she has an extraordinary gift for helping students let go of what they're holding onto.
Named (fortuitously) after a creek of his own, Jordan specializes in taking yoga into the wild. An avid climber, trail runner, and naturalist, his outdoor sessions weave yoga, nature awareness, and playful movement into experiences that feel more like magic than exercise.
Yoga studios are everywhere in Colorado. Here's why Creeture is a different creature entirely.
Every class is inspired by the seasons, the creek, the mountains, and the creatures that call this landscape home. We bring the outside in — and take you outside whenever we can.
We are allergic to pretension. Wobbling in Warrior III, falling out of Tree Pose, showing up in pajamas — all of this is welcome here. The mat is for living, not performing.
We intentionally keep class sizes small so every student gets real attention, real adjustments, and real connection. You will know your instructor's name and they will know yours.
Come to a class. Meet the community. Feel the creek air in your lungs and the mountain ground beneath your feet. This is where you belong.
